About the Conference

The 2nd Chemical IP & Innovation Development Forum took place on 25—26 July 2024 at the Four Points by Sheraton Suzhou Wuzhong. It was hosted by Qingdao Zhiwen Media and the Zhichan Huicui media platform, with guidance and support from the Shanghai Polyurethane Industry Association, the Shanghai Pudong New Area Intellectual Property Association, Suzhou High-tech IP Services Co., Ltd. and the Suzhou Industrial Park IP Service Alliance.

Under the theme "Strengthening IP risk control to power innovation in the chemical industry", the forum drew more than 200 delegates from across China, with chemical companies accounting for over 70% of attendees and participants travelling from Shandong, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, Beijing, Hubei, Chengdu and Lanzhou.

Across two days the programme covered patent, trademark and IP operations as well as trade secret protection, delivered through 15 keynote presentations, two roundtables and a closed-door networking dinner.
