The 3rd Chemical IP & Innovation Development Forum was held on 10—11 April 2025 at the Sheraton Qingdao West Coast. It was hosted by Qingdao Zhiwen Consulting and the Zhichan Huicui media platform, with guidance and support from the Zhangqiu District Market Regulation Administration (Zhangqiu IP Office) of Jinan, the Shandong IP Service Industry Association, the Shandong Chemical Industry and Engineering Society, the Yantai IP Association, the Yantai IP Academy and the Capital IP Service Industry Association.
Under the theme "Innovation leads chemicals forward, IP sustains growth", the forum gathered more than 200 experts and corporate delegates from across China, with chemical companies accounting for over 70%. Senior partners of leading Chinese law firms attended, alongside well-known firms from the United States, India and Germany. Participating companies came from Shandong, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, Inner Mongolia and Liaoning.
Across two days the programme covered judicial protection, patents, overseas protection, hands-on trade secret protection and IP management for outbound businesses, delivered through three tracks, multiple keynotes, two roundtables and a welcome dinner.
