About the Conference
About the Conference
The Medical IP Practice Training Programme is a series jointly launched by the IP Practice Centre (BIPI) and Zhichan Huicui. Session 1 was held on 29-30 March 2024 at the Yiling Building in Beijing, with instructors drawn from experts, judges and lawyers who have worked in pharmaceutical IP for many years.
This session was built around the innovator drug perspective, with nearly thirty participants from R&D, IP management and legal practice at pharmaceutical companies. The curriculum ran from the institutional framework through prosecution and drafting, invalidation and infringement litigation, forming a complete practical chain for innovator drug IP.
Five instructors covered China's biopharma IP protection policies and their latest changes, the special protection the Patent Law grants to pharmaceutical innovation, eight hot topics in innovator drug prosecution, strategies for responding to pharmaceutical patent invalidation, and pharmaceutical patent infringement practice.
